Abstract

With the rapid development of technology, teachers are expected to be able to utilize technology in the learning process so that students become creative and able to compete in facing the implications of the industrial revolution 4.0. Learning success is marked by achieving goals in terms of knowledge, attitudes and skills. QR codes help teachers distribute teaching materials and facilitate an interesting learning process. Teachers can distribute learning materials such as PDFs, word documents, spreadsheets, presentation slides and other digital files to students with a QR code. The use of QR makes it possible to embed various learning materials on mobile phones for easy access and reading. The Community Partnership Program method has three stages, firstly preparing a permit letter as well as conducting interviews regarding the problems faced by partners, secondly compiling materials, tools and materials, thirdly socializing the use of the Barcot digital poster comment method on the ability to teach writing descriptive essays, then discussions to resolve existing problems. facing partners. The results of the service carried out found that the pre-test data was taken before teachers were given understanding and training, teacher understanding in the use of technology and methods was 65%, while from the post-test there was an increase in teacher understanding by 93%. This community service is able to bridge teachers to better place media according to the material to be presented, because not all media can be used for different materials.
