Assistance in Completing and Reporting Annual Income Tax Returns for Individual Taxpayers for Junior High School Teachers IT Daarul Istiqlal Marindal-I

Abstract

In filling out the personal taxpayer's SPT, there are still some who do not understand, both the reporting procedure and the procedure for filling out the SPT, so that in filling out and reporting there are still several errors. In addition, the low awareness of taxpayers to fill out and report their taxes is one of the obstacles for tax collectors to achieve tax collection targets. The perception that has developed among taxpayers is that the activity of reporting personal taxpayer SPT is just a formality. And filling out and reporting taxes is difficult, made worse by the Covid-19 pandemic. For this reason, the Community Service Team provided assistance on filling out and reporting personal taxpayer SPT through the DJP online page with the aim of assisting in reporting their obligations. This assistance was attended by teachers from SMP IT Daarul Istiqlal, using educational counseling methods, persuasive communication and questionnaires for teacher satisfaction surveys and changes in teacher abilities after assistance. The results obtained were that teachers as personal taxpayers were able to fill out and report their SPT through the DJP online page, as well as the emergence of taxpayer awareness of their tax obligations.
