Increasing The Competency Of SMK-BM Students Through Excel for Accounting Financial Application Training At Vocational School 3 Binaan UMN Al-Washliyah, Medan, North Sumatra

Abstract

Quality Human Resources (HR) are ready-to-use workers, namely workers who demonstrate high mastery of science, technology, and skills followed by good morals, ethics, and character. If these qualities are possessed by every SMK graduate, of course Indonesia will not lack potential future generations of the nation. This picture is a picture of superior humans and is a reflection of the ideal future generation of the nation. Vocational High Schools (SMK) are one of the educational institutions that play a role in creating quality and competent Human Resources (HR) in their fields through higher work implementation/practice compared to theory, but until now the unemployment rate for SMK graduates who are campaigned for good working is still quite high.  (1) In its implementation, the method used in community service activities1.Empowerment of Target Communities, 2.Formation of a Work Team 3.Participant Training;  (3) The benefits of implementing the service 1. Students understand the benefits of the Office Excel for Accounting application  2. Students are able to implement financial applications properly and correctly 3. Students are ready to carry out tests/tests on using the Office Excel for Accounting financial application.(4) Conclusions: Completion of community service activities is marked by 85% of students being able to complete the final test as a form of achievement in community service activities.
