Socialization And Assistance On The Benefits Of Using Organic Fertilizers

Abstract

Universitas Harapan Medan is a private university in the province of North Sumatra, UNHAR was established in 2017. This university has four faculties, namely the Faculty of Language and Communication, the Faculty of Economics and Business, the Faculty of Engineering and Computers, and the Faculty of Law.  The target partners in this community service are students of the Faculty of Language and Communication, who in general do not really understand the benefits of using organic fertilizers so it is necessary to educate them on how the benefits of organic fertilizers have an impact on environmental sustainability. From the results of this community service activity it can be concluded that; community service activities entitled Socialization and Assistance in the use of organic fertilizers have been carried out with the results of activities, namely education and insight into participants to improve effective and interesting learning methods in the introduction of steps and ways to use organic fertilizers. these educational activities can improve and apply methods of introducing several types of organic fertilizers which have many benefits for health and long-term environmental sustainability. this activity can foster an entrepreneurial spirit in participants, namely students at the UNHAR
