Cyberbullying Information Services and Socialization
Abstract
The primary objectives of the program are : (1) To enhance teachers' understanding of the impacts of cyberbullying; (2) To equip teachers with effective strategies for managing and preventing cyberbullying in educational settings; (3) To increase students' awareness of responsible social media use and its implications. The program employed the following methods: (1) Training Sessions: Conducted workshops to provide teachers with knowledge and tools to combat cyberbullying; (2) Discussion Forums: Facilitated interactive sessions where teachers could ask questions and share experiences related to cyberbullying; (3) Surveys and Feedback: Utilized pre- and post-training surveys to assess the understanding of the participants and to gather feedback for future improvements; (4) Resource Development: Created educational materials and resources to assist teachers in delivering lessons on cyberbullying effectively. The program yielded the following results: (1)Increased teacher competency in understanding and addressing cyberbullying; (2)Positive feedback from participants regarding the relevance and applicability of the training; (3) Documented improvements in teachers’ ability to convey the necessary information to students about cyberbullying; (4) Engagement of the school community in discussions around the challenges and solutions related to cyberbullying. The community service initiative successfully raised awareness and provided practical solutions for tackling cyberbullying in an educational context. The results indicate a significant improvement in teachers' capabilities to educate students about cyberbullying, fostering a safer online environment for students. Continued efforts are recommended to sustain these educational practices and further enhance the awareness of cyberbullying across the school community. This summary highlights the key components of the project, emphasizing its significance in educational settings and the proactive measures taken to address a pressing issue in modern-day society.
