Abstract

The number of schools that do not understand the urgency of the Merdeka curriculum has resulted in low school readiness in implementing the Merdeka curriculum. Therefore, this community service activity aims to provide assistance for elementary school teachers at UPT SD NEGERI 067250 Medan in compiling differentiated teaching modules that are in accordance with the needs of students as an effort to improve school readiness in implementing the Independent curriculum. independent pathway. The method of approach for implementing this community service activity includes seminars, workshops, and mentoring. The evaluation results of this activity are classified as effective with an achievement of 91%. Based on the results of the teaching module preparation tasks collected, around 75% of participants have understood the components of the teaching module in the Merdeka curriculum, but still have difficulty conducting initial assessments and differentiating learning in their planning. In addition, the teacher's response to the mentoring activity shows that this activity is useful for teachers in preparation for implementing the Merdeka curriculum in the new school year. This mentoring activity also provides teachers with direct experience in utilizing the Merdeka teaching platform and adapting teaching modules to suit the needs of each educational unit.
