Cultural Integration In The Learning Process at SMK Al Washliyah 3 Medan
Abstract
Location of Service Partners at Al Washliyah 3 Medan Private Vocational School located on JL. GARU II NO. 2 MEDAN, Harjosari I, Medan Amplas District, Medan City, North Sumatra Province is one of the Vocational High Schools in Medan City. The focus of the problem is based on the justification of the proposal with related partners in determining the priority problems that are agreed to be solved during the implementation of the PKM program, namely regarding the suboptimal mathematical ability of students at Al Washliyah 3 Medan Private Vocational School in meaningful learning related to culture and the lack of optimal teachers in making learning media such as culture-based pictorial Puzzel. The solution offered is PKM for Making Culture-Based Picture Puzzel at SMK Al Washliyah 3 Medan.The solution offered is in accordance with the needs of partners by providing socialization about the implementation of meaningful learning, which is expected to improve the quality of education implementation at SMK Al Washliyah 3 Medan. The results of the activity were described based on the results of the assessment analysis of 33 teachers who participated in the service activities, there were 57.57% or 19 people who stated "Very Good", 12 people or 36.36% stated "good" and 18.18% or 6 people stated that it was quite good. This training is supported by several indicators that the service activities held can be followed smoothly, full of understanding and improve teachers' skills in making culture-based Pictorial Puzzel. However, there are still some teachers who participate in service activities who need assistance in understanding the making of culture-based Illustrated Puzzel.
