Abstract

In many communities, especially in areas where traditional values and customs are still very strong, there is often a lack of understanding or even ignorance about the principles of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). This can create a gap between daily practices and Islamic teachings regarding shared property. The reality of this lack of understanding about shared property can lead to conflicts within families or communities. A community service program focused on the concept of shared property in the Compilation of Islamic Law can be designed to specifically address the needs of the community and provide solutions that align with Islamic values. Education, dialogue, and community empowerment are key to overcoming these challenges and achieving justice and harmony in the management of shared property according to Islamic teachings.

With enhanced understanding, it is expected that the women of PWBI can become agents of positive change in applying the principles of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI) to issues of shared property, thereby minimizing potential conflicts and creating harmony within families and the community. This community service activity also aims to explore the understanding of the PWBI women in Kwala Bekala regarding the concept of shared property according to the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). The activity is carried out using a participatory approach, involving the women in discussions, training, and Islamic law counseling related to the ownership of shared property.
