IMPROVING STUDENTS’AWARENESS ABOUT NATIONAL HAZARDS OF DRUGS THROUGH TRAINING ACTIVITIES AND KNOWLEDGE CONTEST EFFECT OF DRUGS TO HEALTH

Abstract

Indonesia emergency drugs has been declared by the President of Indonesia JokoWidodo. The results of the National Narcotics Agency research with Universitas Indonesia Health Research Center found people who have narcotics dependence has almost 6 million people. Lack of knowledge of the younger generation of the types of drugs and the dangers of drugs for health can be a factor in the falling generation of young people in using drugs. Community Partnership Program about Training and Knowledge in recognizing the types of drugs and the danger of drugs to health for students of SMP SwastacAl RaziSinarHarapan can improved the knowledge and skills of students of SMP SwastaAl-RaziSinarHarapan so that they can become anti-drug activists in the social out of schoolenvironmentsand home environments. Training and knowledge contest was well done, the knowledge and skills of the students of SMP SwastacAl RaziSinarHarapanincreased rapidly so as to protect themselves from the use and distribution of drugs
